Our IT Helpdesk & Support team is the go-to for resolving technical issues and keeping everyone productive. They provide first-line support for hardware, software, and system queries, ensuring employees have the tools they need to work effectively. Whether it’s troubleshooting problems or guiding users through fixes, they keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.

Technical Delivery

Technical Delivery focuses on delivering IT projects and improvements across the organisation. They work closely with other teams to roll out new systems, implement upgrades, and introduce innovative solutions. Their goal is to keep Softcat ahead of the curve by ensuring every technical change is seamless and adds value.

IT Service Management

IT Service Management sets the standards for how IT support operates. They monitor performance, manage incidents, and drive continuous improvement to deliver a consistent, high-quality IT experience. By refining processes and introducing best practices, they make sure IT services meet the needs of the business.

Solution Design & Architecture

Our Solution Design & Architecture team turns customer needs into tailored technology solutions. They work closely with account managers and technical specialists to design solutions across networking, cloud, and security. This team combines deep technical expertise with business insight, ensuring every solution is robust, scalable, and perfectly aligned with customer goals.

Professional Services

Professional Services delivers projects that transform customer environments. From migrations and deployments to complex integrations, they make sure every project is delivered on time and to the highest standard. Working hand-in-hand with customers and partners, they bring technology strategies to life and help businesses achieve their goals.

IT Infrastructure

The IT Infrastructure team manages the backbone of Softcat’s technology. They look after servers, networks, and core systems, making sure everything is secure, reliable, and scalable. From maintaining connectivity to implementing upgrades, they ensure our technology foundation supports the business now and in the future.

IT Access & Asset Management

This team makes sure the right people have the right access at the right time. They manage user permissions, hardware assets, and software licences, ensuring compliance and security. From onboarding new starters to tracking equipment, they keep everything organised and efficient.

Service Operations

Our Service Operations team ensures customers have a great experience after purchase. They manage onboarding, support, and issue resolution, with Engage driving strong relationships through customer programmes and campaigns. Together, they keep customers connected and supported throughout their journey with Softcat.

Managed Services

Managed Services takes care of customers’ IT environments day-to-day. They monitor systems, manage incidents, and provide proactive support to keep everything secure and efficient. Their mission is to give customers peace of mind by handling the complexity of IT, so they can focus on growing their business.

Induction

We kick off your Softcat journey with an overview of all the non-sales areas of our business, led by our senior leaders, to ensure you understand how our company values form the foundation of our vibrant, people-centric culture.
