What support and adjustments do you offer?
If you require any support or adjustments during the recruitment process for any reason, including those relating to a disability or neurodiversity, please email us at recruitmentteam@softcat.com or call us on 01628 403532 to let us know. You will also be given the opportunity to make us aware of any support or adjustments or mitigating circumstances on your application form. Any information you provide will be treated in strict confidence.
Can I defer an offer?
We recruit all year round and we understand that life doesn’t always go to plan and can often change. Whatever your situation, we will try and accommodate your needs where we can and see if we can flex your start dates.
What benefits do you offer?
We offer great rewards packages for all of our roles. The benefits include pension, life assurance, 23 days’ holiday (rising to a max of 30 days after a qualifying period) a free day off for your birthday, workation, share incentive plans and many more. You can also personalise your rewards package and select perks and benefits to suit your lifestyle and needs.

Do you offer graduate opportunities?
We don't have a formal graduate programme, however, some of our opportunities are great for graduates looking for their first role. In particular all of our Sales Executive opportunities.
Will you sponsor my ongoing professional development?
We are really big advocates for professional and personal development, and have a dedicated L&D function solely to support this. We like to encourage an ethos of you driving your own career and proactively seeking ways to develop, whether that be via on-the-job or formal training, we are here to support you!
What is the Disability Confident ‘offer’ in recruitment?

We offer early in career opportunities in the form of our apprenticeship and internship programmes. More details on these programmes can be found on our early careers page.
Do you offer work experience?
We do offer work experience through our formal school partnerships. However, we're currently unable to accommodate ad-hoc requests for work experience opportunities.
What's Softcat's policy on the utilisation of AI in the recruitment process?
We don't prohibit the use of AI (artificial intelligence) in our application process, as we understand how far it can go to creating a truly equitable candidate experience. That being said, as a culture-driven organisation, we believe that the genuine essence of each person is what truly matters, so we highly encourage you to be as authentically you as possible when submitting your application to showcase your true and whole self.
Do you transcribe your interviews?
For some virtual recruiter screening calls, we may use live transcription to help our recruiters focus fully on the conversation rather than taking notes. Your interview will not be recorded, and you’ll be told in advance if transcription is being used. You can opt out at any time, and if you’re not comfortable, we’ll simply turn it off.
