We are excited to announce that Enexo has been acquired by Techies Go Green, an IT channel collective that shares our commitment to reducing carbon emissions within the tech industry. This strategic move will enable Enexo to further its mission of providing accurate carbon emissions intelligence to UK organisations.

As we transition to the new ownership, we want to ensure that your experience remains uninterrupted and that your data is handled with the utmost care. In compliance with UK GDPR, we are offering you the choice to opt out of transferring your data to Techies Go Green.

Your personal data includes:

• your information, such as your name, email address, phone number.

We also hold the following information about your organisation:

• your business information, such as your company name, industry, size, and environmental data.

Allowing us to transfer your data to Techies Go Green will help them to understand your needs and preferences, to continuously provide you with a relevant and personalised service. However, we will only transfer your data if you do not opt out here before 17:00 GMT Friday 20 December 2024.

Why are you transferring Enexo?

We are selling Enexo to Techies Go Green because we believe that this is the best decision for both of us. Techies Go Green shares our vision and values and by joining forces, we will be able to leverage their expertise and resources to offer you a better service in the future.

How will this affect my service?

The transfer will not affect your service in any way. You will still be able to use Enexo as usual, and you will still receive the same level of support and customer service that you expect from us. Nothing else about the service will change, except for the improvements and innovations that Techies Go Green may bring to the service in the future.

How will this move affect my data?

The transfer will only affect your data if you choose to opt out of the transfer before the deadline. Otherwise, everything will remain the same. If we don’t hear from you by the deadline, your personal data will be transferred to Techies Go Green by 10 January 2025 and they will become the new data controller. How can I opt out of data transfer?

You can opt out of the data transfer by filling out the form before 17:00 GMT Friday 20 December 2024.

What if I change my mind after opting out or agreeing to data transfer?

You can change your mind on opting-out of transferring your data up until 17:00 GMT Friday 20 December 2024 by contacting support@enexo.com. If you change your mind after the deadline, you can still contact xxxxxxx and exercise your data protection rights, such as the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict your data.
