Commercial Operations
The Commercial Operations team supports our customers, vendors, and internal teams by creating simple, consistent, and efficient experiences. We focus on operational excellence and enable Softcat to deliver outstanding outcomes at every stage.
Key areas include:
- Vendor Operations (keeping vendor processes smooth and compliant)
- Microsoft Vendor Operations (managing the full Microsoft lifecycle for one of our most strategic partners)
- Customer Experience (bringing the voice of the customer into the business to drive customer‑centric decisions)
- Customer Success (strengthening relationships, driving adoption, and adding value for customers and vendors)
- Service Delivery (acting as the customer’s voice across Support and Managed Services to ensure our services stay customer‑focused)
- CX Programmes (creating opportunities to gather meaningful customer feedback)

Data Strategy
Our Data Strategy team turns information into insight. They manage data governance, reporting, and analytics to help the business make smarter decisions. Sales Operations
Our Sales Operations team keeps the sales engine running smoothly by managing processes, systems, and data. It includes:
- Opportunity Management (driving efficiency in the sales cycle)

Commercial Engagement
The Commercial Engagement teams work together to strengthen how Softcat engages with vendors and supports our sales organisation. They make sure our sellers have what they need to succeed and that vendor programmes deliver real value for customers and the business.

- Commercial Enablement (equipping sellers with the knowledge, content, and support to drive revenue across priority vendors)
- Commercial Programme Management (evaluating, governing, and coordinating vendor programmes to ensure they align with strategy and deliver measurable impact)
