Softcat will participate in events that strengthen relationships with service personnel, veterans, and other stakeholders.

Armed Forces and Veterans Network
Softcat has an Armed Forces and Veterans Network that provides a safe space for veterans, reservists, and service families to connect and share experiences.
Currently 26 members strong, the network meets every eight weeks and has been involved in various meaningful activities throughout the year, such as:
The Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS)
Softcat holds the Silver Award in the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme, demonstrating our commitment to supporting the armed forces community. We have proactive policies to ensure fair recruitment and attract talented individuals from this community. Additionally, we offer enhanced support for employees, including 10 days paid leave for active reservists. With all required policies in place, we aim to upgrade to the Gold Award in the next accreditation window.
