During a two-day event taking place last week at the Landmark Hotel in London, Softcat was presented the Charitable Partner of the Year Award 2019.

Taking place during the UK’s largest cloud ecosystem event, the Ingram Micro Cloud Summit, the award is presented to the partner who has added the most value outside of their corporate agenda, and whose philanthropy has created real change in society.

Softcat has raised over £2m for charities, and recently raised over £330,000 though the annual May Ball charity event.

Accepting the award on behalf of Softcat Alastair Wynn, Operations Director, said: “We pride ourselves on our charity work, which is driven by our staff activities and our fundraising events such as our May Ball – a combination of financial support but also individual support, as all staff are given two days paid leave each year to work with, or for, a charity of their choice – that’s well over 2,500 days dedicated to charity work annually.”
