Softcat wins place on gov-approved framework to support schools to upgrade their technology.

Softcat is excited to join the Everything ICT Framework as an approved supplier, enabling us to work with schools and other public sector organisations on supplying their ICT needs, including the Department for Education (DfE) ‘Connect the Classroom’ scheme.

Softcat is joining nearly 200 pre-approved and trusted suppliers on the Everything ICT Framework; a fully compliant procurement route for Public Sector organisations to secure everything IT related. 

This is great news for Softcat customers, as it allows a direct route to market without having to get three quotes or go out to tender.

This also opens another procurement route for education customers who are eligible for the DfE’s Connect the Classroom programme, which provides government funding for eligible schools to upgrade their wireless network infrastructure. This means education organisations can directly award their procurement via the Everything ICT Framework.
