Leading IT infrastructure provider Softcat held their first Partner Forum yesterday, welcoming over 200 manufacturers, distributors and services partners to the Roundhouse in Camden Town, London.  Softcat provided them with an overview of their history, capabilities, strategy and financial performance, before introducing new CEO Graeme Watt, and handing out some well-deserved awards.

Softcat provide industry-leading solutions to organisations, so they were keen to share their vision and plans to move forward and grow alongside these partners, as well as thanking them for their ongoing support. Solutions Sales Director, Richard Wyn Griffith, described the journey to delivering great solutions by working together in partnership, and outlining the resource that Softcat has in place to support business growth while delivering a first-class service.

Colin Brown, Managing Director, said, “This year we wanted to give our partners a real insight to the history of Softcat to show where we started and how far we’ve come since then. The Partner Forum was an excellent opportunity to engage with our partners who are based all around the world, to thank them for their support and give them a picture of what, by working together, our future together will look like in terms of developing and delivery to meet our customers’ digital transformation requirements.”

The Partner Forum culminated in the much-anticipated annual partner awards ceremony, with eight discrete awards presented. Softcat works with the very best IT providers in the industry, and these awards gave an opportunity to recognise the quality of their service.

Brown added, “We love receiving awards ourselves, but we also love to recognise a job well done, and our awards have been a chance to show all our partners the high quality service that has been demonstrated across our partner network this year. We are looking forward to making this Partner Forum an annual event.”
