Softcat has successfully renewed its supplier status on HealthTrust Europe’s (HTE) ComIT2 framework. Enabling the continued provision of Enterprise level Information Technology Solutions across this successful route to market. The HTE framework is a four-year national contract that will deliver bespoke IT solutions for the UK public sector.
What does this mean?
The ICT framework offers a new and refreshed route to market for the public sector’s IT needs and will deliver; hardware, software, programs, applications, security, computer science, managed services, consultancy and associated services. All UK public sector customers including health and social care, education, blue light and the government will have access to a new range of suppliers and a revamped services line-up.
Andy Bruen, Softcat’s Strategic Relationships Manager said, “Unlike its predecessor, the ComIT 2 framework is presented to customers as a single LOT; which means customers will benefit from a simpler, cleaner and more agile procurement process. Softcat looks forward to continuing its journey of delivering genuine value and procurement efficiency to ComIT 2 customers. This framework is accessible to customers in the UK’s healthcare and wider public sector marketplaces.”
Customers will also have access to (including but not limited to); feasibility studies and proof of concepts, full solution design supply and implementation, application development, cloud transformation, cyber security and security consultancy and solutions.
