At a glitzy event in Battersea Park Evolution, London, hosted by comedian Katherine Ryan, Softcat scooped the top prize, walking away with the award for Reseller of the year (£51m+ Revenue)
The annual awards, now in its 25th year, sees 1,600 industry execs celebrate the latest technology innovations and advancements, recognising the ingenuity and exceptional achievements of the UK channel industry over the previous 12 months.
Emerging from the 25-strong Softcat presence that invaded the stage after the announcement of the win, Graeme Watt said: ”We’re delighted, in our 25th year of business, to be honoured with the top award at this year’s highly prestigious CRN awards. It’s been a fantastic year for Softcat, hitting the £1bn revenue milestone, opening our first office outside the UK, generating over £300,000 for our nominated charities, and picking up awards like this show that the hard work the entire Softcat team do day-in day-out is recognised within the industry.”
The theme of the event this year was ‘everything 90s’, celebrating not just the past year, but the past 25 years of the IT channel.
