Following an earlier announcement, Softcat (LSE: SCT), a leading IT infrastructure provider, is pleased to announce that it has now opened a seventh UK location on the South Coast, between Southampton and Portsmouth.

The office will be manned by existing employees already based in the region, supplemented with new recruits, many of which will be enrolled on the award-winning Softcat graduate programme. The first recruits for the new office joined Softcat in October, with additional to follow in November.

In addition to providing access to a pool of talented staff, the new location will also provide local contact for new and prospective customers.

Softcat have existing offices in Marlow, London, Glasgow, Leeds, Bristol and Manchester, and staff across all functions can be based from any of the office locations.
