On Monday 10 March our London office officially relocated to London’s St. Botolph Building, just a two-minute walk from our previous location at One Creechurch Lane. This move symbolises a significant step forward as we continue to grow and enhance our workspace.
The new space has expanded both in size and vision, now being 22,000 sq. ft. larger and our second office to showcase Softcat’s new look and feel. It boasts an array of modern facilities and amenities designed to elevate wellbeing and collaboration, including, shower and fresh towel facilities and lockers, 19 meeting rooms, three individual focus rooms, four cozy single-person booths, a full bank of electric standing desks, a serene wellbeing room and multifaith room, a quiet library area, a fun gaming area, and an IT help desk area.
Matt Brennan, sales and office manager for Softcat London, said: “I believe this move is absolutely going to drive our success and collaboration with its enhanced space and technology. We have a high-performance culture that is built upon the foundations of a strong people-first culture, as we believe this drives the best out of our people. This new space, and the way in which we will use it, will allow us to make that experience even greater, not only for Softcat but for our customers and vendors. There are no limits to what I believe we will be able to achieve in this new home.”
This is our only office to feature a magnificent Townhall presentation space that can accommodate 380 people, along with a smaller presentation space for 150 people. It's an exciting new chapter for us, and we can't wait to see the positive impact it will have on our London team and the business.
Matt Newton, Softcat’s head of property and workplace, said: "This move represents a significant milestone for Softcat. Our new office will not only provide a modern and dynamic workspace for our team but also reflect our commitment to sustainability and innovation. By incorporating eco-friendly practices and utilising renewable energy sources, we are demonstrating tangible steps towards a greener future. Additionally, Softcat’s brand refresh throughout the office embodies these values, emphasising what we do and what we stand for. I’m looking forward to seeing the impact this relocation and our refreshed brand will have on our employees and our business."
Designed to align with our long-term sustainability goals and innovation, the new space incorporates eco-friendly designs, repurposed furniture and equipment, as well as smart office solutions to create a future-ready workspace while aiming for FitWell accreditation and SKA Silver rating.
