Softcat has been named as one of only two resellers on Jisc’s CrowdStrike agreement

Softcat is proud to announce that we’ve been appointed as one of only two authorised resellers on the newly launched CrowdStrike Jisc agreement. This strategic initiative aims to simplify cyber security procurement across the UK’s education and research sectors.

The agreement, which came into effect on 14 May 2025 and will run until 13 May 2028, enables Higher and Further Education institutions, Research Councils, and aligned public sector organisations to access CrowdStrike’s industry-leading Falcon Endpoint Protection Platform through a streamlined procurement route.

Softcat’s inclusion in this agreement reflects our deep commitment to the education sector and highlights our proven track record of delivering secure, scalable, and cost-effective IT solutions.

The agreement aligns with Jisc’s Security Operations Centre (SOC) strategy and offers a simplified, tiered pricing model, express support options and flexible licencing terms. Softcat’s dedicated Higher Education team, which consists of over a dozen account managers and technical specialists, will provide tailored support to institutions throughout the agreement lifecycle.
