Softcat is proud to announce that we have been appointed as the official supplier for the South East Grid for Learning’s (SEGfL) national software framework. The agreement is set to run for four years, with a value of up to £500 million. Awarded by East Sussex County Council, it will provide a comprehensive range of software solutions to over 2,500 schools, local authorities, and third-sector organisations across the South East of England.

The framework encompasses licensing for Microsoft and other applications, cyber security tools, educational software and associated hardware, alongside support, maintenance, and software asset management services. Softcat will also collaborate with consortium members to identify and onboard new software titles throughout the contract’s duration.

“This win reflects our continued commitment to supporting the education sector with innovative, secure, and scalable IT solutions,” said Rachel Clay, Head of Education and Non-Profit at Softcat. “We’re excited to work closely with SEGfL members to deliver real value and help transform digital learning environments.”

Softcat’s internal teams have already activated the framework across the online sales platform eCAT, ensuring seamless access and ordering for participating institutions.
