Softcat, a leading UK provider of IT infrastructure products and services, announced today that they have gained accreditation in Red Hat’s Subscription Education and Awareness Program (SEAP) in the UK.

The Red Hat SEAP Program is designed to educate Red Hat associates, business partners, and customers on the Red Hat Subscription Model, its requirements, and the value it provides while ensuring customers are compliant with their Red Hat subscriptions.  Enrolling in the SEAP will provide customers with a complete view of their Red Hat estate from both a deployment and entitlement perspective.  Furthermore, engagement with Red Hat will guarantee a discount level of at least 10% on any purchases made as part of the SEAP engagement.

Rebecca Horton, Red Hat SEAP Manager commented "Red Hat is pleased to extend our collaboration with Softcat, our 2017 EMEA Partner of the Year, into the area of Software Asset Management to provide additional value to our joint client base as they navigate the complexities of asset management."

Commenting on the accreditation, James Baker, Alliances Director at Softcat, said: “This accreditation will allow us to provide Red Hat accredited SAM services, further extending our already broad portfolio of services. As Red Hat EMEA Partner of the Year we are seeing an increased appetite for our SAM services, and we are excited to be taking this new service to our client base.”
