We are pleased to share that with the recent release of the FTSE Women Leaders Review annual report, Softcat has featured as one of the top 10 performers for Women on Boards this year. This means we have exceeded the 40% Women on Boards target at least two years ahead of the 2025 target deadline with 62.5% which ranks us at third.

The FTSE Women Leaders Review is the government-backed, business-led voluntary initiative focused on increasing the representation of women on Boards and Leadership Teams in the FTSE 350 and 50 of the UK’s largest private companies. The Review builds on the work of the Hampton-Alexander and Davies Reviews which preceded it. You can read the full report here: FTSE Women Leaders.

We have been working hard for some time to achieve greater gender balance at all levels and this achievement highlights our commitment.

Anushka Davies, Head of Employee Engagement, Diversity & Inclusion at Softcat said: “I’m delighted to see that Softcat has been recognised as one of the top ten best performers in the FT250 when it comes to gender diversity on our board. There are a total of 33 FTSE 250 companies with a majority of women on boards, so to see Softcat feature in this list as one of the top performers is a testament to the work we have put in to ensure we are encouraging more women at this level and at leadership level across the organisation.”

Thank you, FTSE, for this recognition of our efforts and here’s to the women on our Softcat Board: Katy Mecklenburgh, Vin Murria OBE, Robyn Perriss, Lynne Weedall and Jacqui Ferguson.
