On Thursday 9 January, Softcat hosted the ‘Maximising your cyber security investments with Microsoft’. You can watch a recording of the webinar here

This was an hour-long, live, online event, with speakers from Softcat’s Cyber Services and Commercial Operations Programs teams. It focused on the available Microsoft-funded security workshops, for customers with approximately 300+ licenses. The workshops covered in this webinar are POC (Proof of Concept) style so you can uncover the benefits of various Microsoft security and compliancy products, such as Sentinel, Purview, and Defender.

If you would like to register your interest in these workshops and check your organisation’s eligibility, please fill out this form here. For an overview of the funded security workshops, please watch the webinar back here

The engagement involves mandatory modules like Defender XDR and Identity Threat Protection, and selectable modules like Server Threat Detection and SoC Automation

Managed XDR Engagement: includes an initial assessment, scope definition, deployment, threat detection, continuous monitoring, and reporting. The engagement aims to enhance security posture and provide real-time threat management by continuous monitoring from Softcat’s 24/7 UK-based SoC.
