On Monday 17 August, our Glasgow office relocated to a brand-new space in the heart of the city centre. The new space on the fourth floor at the Cadworks building is just a stone’s throw away from our previous office at Nelson Mandela Place, so we’re still very centrally located. We’re pleased to continue offering our employees and customers easy access to local amenities and public transport options with our central location.

“Moving office is about much more than changing address. We've taken the opportunity to create a space that better supports the way we work today, with improved facilities, more collaborative areas and a working environment that will help us grow into the future. We're really looking forward to welcoming everyone into the new Glasgow office and seeing colleagues make the most of a fantastic new home in the heart of the city.” - John Dryden, Senior Property & Performance Programme Manager

The move to Cadworks, one of Scotland’s most innovative and sustainable office developments, signals Softcat’s continued growth and focus on expansion. We’ll now be occupying over 10,000 sq ft of premium office space, a huge step up from the 5,086 sq ft at Mandela Place.

"Strong customer relationships are built on collaboration, trust and spending time together, and our new Glasgow office gives us an even better space to do exactly that. Whether we're hosting customers, working alongside partners or bringing colleagues together to solve challenges, this move creates more opportunities to connect and deliver great outcomes. We're looking forward to welcoming customers into our new home and continuing to support their success from the heart of Glasgow." - Tom Hough, Sales Manager

The office space is modern and eclectic, with a gym and fitness room for employees to take advantage of, a cycle-in access ramp, bike storage and more. Softcat’s space perfectly encapsulates our brand while also reflecting Glasgow’s local culture and heritage. One of the ways we’ve done this is by commissioning a mural by local artist Ethan Gourlay, that sits proudly in our breakout space.

Alongside additional meeting rooms, new collaboration spaces, and a multifunction breakout area, we're also bringing in Soundtrack as our audio system and Sony digital signage powered by Appspace. Together, these enhancements will create a smarter, more connected, and future-ready office experience aligned with the latest standards across our office estate." - Rebecca Sellers, Technical Delivery Manager

“The new office looks absolutely amazing! So much thought and effort have gone into creating such a brilliant space, and I’m really excited to see it come to life and have everyone enjoying it!” - Katt Sharpe, Workplace Coordinator

This move is one of six relocations we’ve undertaken in the last two years, including our offices in: Dublin, Manchester, Birmingham, London and Bristol.
