ITN BUSINESS INTERVIEWS SOFTCAT AS PART OF INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY CAMPAIGN

For International Women’s Day 2024, ITN Business and key women leaders at Softcat highlight the work we have done as an organisation to make health more accessible and fairer to women.

Presented by Louise Minchin, the news programme focuses on ‘Women’s Health, the future we deserve’. In a sector that is typically male dominated, we are committed to growing and supporting our representation of women. Through our employee networks, we provide spaces for open conversations, along with the opportunity to challenge and propose improvements for now and the future.

The Softcat approach is to support our women in not only joining the business, but in staying and thriving within their role. We concentrate our efforts in ensuring that the policies we have in place around menopause, fertility and work life balance are relevant and always evolving, as well as helping the company achieve its goals around representation of women at leadership level.

“This year the theme for International Women’s Day is to ‘Inspire Inclusion’, which is all about forging a better and more inclusive world for women. Our networks are run by business leaders who create safe spaces and are the voice of many within the business. We want the women in our business to know that we value their contribution and will go the extra mile to support them. I’m so pleased to be on this diversity journey, and we’ll continue to keep pushing our goals in making Softcat a more gender diverse workplace.” Rebecca Monk, Chief People Officer.

A big thank you to Rebecca Monk, Rachel Clay, Rebecca Bateman and Anushka Davies who were a part of the programme and continue to make Softcat an inclusive place to work.
