As a Gold vendor, you will be able to receive full access to our Softcat Sales teams. This means you have the ability to engage with our sales team on a regular basis, subject to review based the guidance on the following slide and office availability.
If you want to do any enablement or sales activity with our sales team, the requirement is that this is managed out of our Commercial Enablement team so please reach out to your dedicated contact.

Actively listen, share your thoughts and ideas with the team, but be open and allow them to contribute their ideas as well, and avoid micromanaging.
Please make use and utilise the full day with our sales team. Softcat’s working hours are between 9 and 16:30 so would love to see you for the duration for this time.
This ensures optimal engagement from sales when they know who they need to engage with, and this easily identifies you when visiting our offices.
It is essential to uphold a strong standard of professionalism in all communications. Engage positively with your colleagues while being mindful not to disrupt.
Please ensure that you respect the confidentiality of sensitive corporate information. Use the designated vendor areas during visits.
Keep active communications that will help uncover new opportunities and work existing ones
Take the time to get to know the team and ensure you know who to go to for what. Don’t hesitate to ask for support or help when you are in the office.
Do take the initiative and don’t always wait for instructions. Be engaging but not intrusive
We expect a positive and progressive attitude even in challenging situations.
As vendors, we look to you to bring a high level of expertise and a unique set of skills that directly support the team’s effectiveness.
We need you to remain open to the changes of our sales team If you are booked in to visit, please turn up – your non-attendance may prevent someone else from visiting. Our office times are 9:30 – 16:30 for vendors.
We appreciate that everyone has their own priorities, and to support smoother collaboration, we kindly ask that updates on opportunities are requested thoughtfully and at appropriate times
Use your time effectively with our sales team while in the office and respect the roles of the Alliances team, who will assist you during your visit.
The right team will come back to you once your request has been submitted.
