Ahead of BETT 2023, we wanted to share some insights on what you can expect from one of the biggest education technology events in the world.

Bett, held between 29-31 March, is always a great opportunity to discover the latest innovations and trends in the world of edtech. With the event just around the corner, here are some of the predicted trends we expect to see:

Artificial Intelligence

AI has already made significant strides in the education sector including personalised learning. Over the next year, we expect to see even more AI-powered educational tools and platforms that can adapt to individual learning needs and provide more engaging and interactive experiences for students.

VR in the Classroom

As Virtual Reality technology becomes more accessible and affordable, we expect to see more classrooms adopting these immersive technologies. These technologies can be used to create virtual school trips and other concepts to life which can help students to better understand more complex ideas.

Gamification of Learning

Gamification has been a growing trend in education for several years now. By incorporating game elements such as points, levels, and rewards into education content, it makes learning more fun and engaging.

Collaborative Learning tools

Collaboration is a key skill that students need to succeed in a modern workplace, and technology can help to facilitate this.  We expect to see a rise in the number of collaboration tools on the market that allows students to work on projects together, to share ideas and give feedback in real-time.

Microlearning

With attention spans getting shorter, microlearning and bite-size content is becoming increasingly more popular. These short, focused lessons can be delivered through videos, podcasts and infographics making it easier for students to absorb information on the go.

Online Safety

As students spend more time online, it’s important to educate them regarding their online safety. We expect more educational resources to emerge to teach students on how to be responsible and to protect their personal information online.

Bett 2023 promises to be a fantastic opportunity to learn about the latest innovations in the world of education and connect with other education professionals from around the globe. We can’t wait to see what the future of edtech holds.
