Challenge
Buzzacott needed to update its desk spaces and refresh end-user devices to support a move to Windows 11. Rather than simply replacing hardware, the firm saw an opportunity to rethink its technology strategy—moving from a transactional approach to a collaborative partnership, embracing an OpEx model, and empowering staff with the tools they needed to thrive.

Softcat delivered a comprehensive solution, starting with a successful tender for Microsoft E5 licensing, which freed up budget for other priorities. Desk modernisation replaced legacy setups with sleek, single-monitor workstations. The device refresh empowered staff to choose their own Microsoft Surface devices, supported by a flexible leasing model and sustainable recycling of old equipment. Softcat managed logistics, configuration, and training, ensuring a seamless rollout.
