  • Windows 10 is Microsoft’s newest operating system, the most secure, robust, reliable and user-focused they have released
  • Get ready! Your organisation needs to prepare before jumping in with both feet. Make sure your infrastructure is ready and rationalise applications prior to deployment
  • Windows AutoPilot is an over-the-air provisioning method, removing the need for IT to see a device, making provisioning user-led, quicker and cheaper
  • Microsoft have introduced a new way to provide updates and it’s a big change – there are now two servicing channels. The Semi-Annual Channel delivers feature updates twice a year, with monthly operating system ‘quality updates’
  • Legacy apps – you can work around this if your current apps are not supported by Windows 10 but are still required
  • Microsoft have released a feature to allow a combined classic and modern IT management system for Windows 10 to provide micromanagement capabilities as well as MDM management
  • A seamless transition between operating systems is important, so users have a familiar look, feel and experience once Windows 10 is in place
