During a glittering black-tie gala at the Madejski Stadium in Reading, hosted by TV personality Vernon Kay, Softcat collected the award for 'Workplace Mental Health.'

The Thames Valley Business Magazine Awards is open to every company in the Thames Valley area and recognises not only profitability, innovation, and employment but also the contribution made to the local economic community and the provision of support to culture and charities in the region.

Collecting the award for Softcat, Anushka Davies, Softcat Head of Talent, Engagement and Diversity, said: "We are delighted to have won such an important award to highlight that we are helping break down the barriers that are associated to talking about mental health. Our mental health first aiders who help our employees and the individuals who have shared their personal stories have made such a huge difference in ensuring we create a safe space where we can openly talk about mental health."

Softcat was a finalist in the same category for the 2018 awards, where they also picked up the 'Best Company to Work For' award.
