Software manufacturer Veeam has named Softcat its 2016 SMB Partner of the Year. Softcat’s Data Management Business Manager, Katie Bain collected the award while attending Veeam’s inaugural partner summit, held at Penny Hill Park in Berkshire.
Platinum partner Softcat has been providing customers with Veeam backup and disaster recovery (DR) solutions since 2010, continuing to invest and grow the joint partnership throughout 2016. In particular, Softcat has been quick to adopt Veeam ONE, the manufacturer’s monitoring, reporting and capacity planning tool as part of the solutions it offers customers.
Richard Agnew, Veeam’s UK VP, said: “Softcat and Veeam work closely together to deliver an availability message to the market. Their ability to drive this market and support their customer base with best of breed technology means that we are delighted to be able to recognise Softcat as the SMB partner of the year.”
Veeam has established its annual summit to provide partners with an opportunity to review the latest developments and functionality in its portfolio. The event brings a number of Veeam’s partners together to share best practice, develop the partner community and reward significant achievement.
