Softcat has been awarded a place on the new Office of Government Procurement (OGP) Microsoft Licensing Services Framework Agreement for the first time. This is a national agreement which can be used by all eligible Irish public sector organisations. The framework will provide Microsoft licences for a range of different licensing renewals and associated services.
Through a competitive tender process, Softcat demonstrated our ability to align with the frameworks key objectives including:
- Expanding the range of Microsoft Solution Renewals covered within the scope of the Framework and ensuring access to high-quality Associated Services at the most economically advantageous cost to all Public Sector Bodies; delivering the best possible value for money for all Framework clients;
- Improving efficiencies to Framework clients in procurement of Microsoft Solution Renewals and Associated Services;
- Promoting and encouraging SME participation and opportunity;
- Deliver social value to our customer communities within Ireland.
This is the first time Softcat has been awarded a place on this framework and its dedicated Irish sales team are on-hand to assist future framework clients looking to renew existing Microsoft Solutions and/or add additional licences or subscriptions.
Adam Rice, Public Sector Director, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be awarded a place on the Office of Government Procurement Microsoft Framework. This is a great achievement by the team, and we hope it helps strengthen our relationships with our Irish Public Sector customers. We see this as a massive opportunity to continue developing our Irish portfolio and we are thrilled to be working with OGP in making this framework a success.”
