VMware, the company that streamlines the journey for organisations to become digital businesses, have now announced their winners at their UK&I Partner Recognition dinner, with Softcat being awarded UK&I Partner of the Year and Jacques Tibbels, VMware Business Manager at Softcat, scooping the VMware Ambassador of the Year award.
This comes shortly after the announcement that Softcat won the EMEA 2018 VMware Partner Innovation Award for EMEA Solutions Partner of the Year.
The Partner Recognition dinner is one of the many ways that VMware like to recognise the vital work their partners do for them, work that is critical to both VMware and their partners’ success. Each of the winners were chosen from strong shortlists, which in turn were picked from a variety of businesses that have all had sparkling results in the past year.
Collecting the award on behalf of Softcat, Stuart Davis, VMware Alliance Manager at Softcat, said, “We are absolutely delighted to have won these awards. It pays testament to our ever-growing successful relationship with VMware, allowing us to continually drive value back to our customers, and stands us out from all other channel partners despite the strong shortlist. It also shows our ability to integrate and deliver VMware solutions is second to none. It’s also great to see Jacques Tibbels recognised for his commitment to driving the VMware agenda within Softcat.”
Jacques Tibbels also commented, “I am thrilled to be given the Ambassador of the Year Award from VMware. It would not have been possible without them.”
