Celebrating the best of the UK’s PLCs, the annual Stock Market Awards have seen Softcat announced as the ‘Best Technology Plc.’ With nominees whittled down to a final selection of six organisations based on a range of factors including share price performance, management acumen and growth of revenue, Softcat were voted winners of the award in a public vote.
The Stock Market Awards recognise and reward all that is great about publicly-listed British firms, the equity market in which they operate and their enormous contribution to the United Kingdom's economy. The awards celebrate companies creating shareholder value, and Softcat’s award specifically acknowledges their success and development in the Technology sector.
This year’s award ceremony, hosted by journalist Daisy McAndrew, was held at The Sheraton Grand London Park Lane.
