Softcat have been named as one of only a few partners in the UK to achieve Principal Partnership Status with VMware for VMware Cloud on AWS.
The Principal Partner status is the highest level of partnership that a partner can hold in a technology vertical. At Softcat, we are committed to the development of our VMware technical and sales teams, and because of this we are now one of the most capable partners to help support customers with their hybrid and multi cloud strategies.
What is the Principal Partner Status?
On the 29th February 2020, VMware launched a new partner programme called Partner Connect. Under the new programme VMware made some significant changes that enable channel partners to focus on product sets that aligned to their own business strategies, providing the opportunity for partners to specialise in specific technologies and become experts in those fields.
How does this enable Softcat to support our customers?
As customers move into complex digital transformation projects, the VMware Master Services Competency designates a high level of service capability to support our customers looking to use VMware Cloud on AWS.
Softcat has developed offerings to work in partnership with our VMware customers to scope, design and deliver VMware Cloud on AWS projects but also to provide an ability to offer on-going support.
