Softcat is delighted to announce the appointment of Louise Fellows as its Public Sector Director. Following Ant Cowen’s recent move to Sales Director, Louise will take over leadership of the public sector team from January 2021. She will be responsible for driving Softcat’s Public Sector business by continuing to attract the best talent whilst using her experience to grow new and existing customer relationships and segments with Softcat’s vendors and partners.

 Louise joins after spending two years as Director of Public Sector UK&I at Vmware and twelve years in strategic public sector roles at Telefonica and its subsidiary UK telecommunications branch, O2. Most recently as Director of Public Sector, Louise led the growth of VMware's public sector business and was instrumental in the organisation’s growth across all areas of the VMware portfolio delivering significant transformation services to many public sector organisations.

 With 25 years in the IT and Telecoms industries, Louise’s passion for digital transformation and her passion for leadership, talent development and growth of high performing teams underpins the ambitions she holds for her work with Softcat. As an advocate for building inclusive and informed communities, Louise will play a pivotal role in supporting Softcat, their partners and customers to transform cities, businesses and places, with technology at the heart.
