Softcat has scooped fifth place in Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work in the UK 2020.
With a focus on culture, the list celebrates organisations that invest in their staff, offering them opportunities for growth and providing them with meaningful and purpose-driven work.
With a Company Rating of 4.4, Softcat sits comfortably in the top five, with the winner, Google, achieving only a marginally higher 4.5. Winners were determined based on employee feedback, with no nomination process or survey, showcasing the true opinions of the people who work for these organisations and giving prospective employees an honest view of life in the workplace.
Reviews for Softcat on Glassdoor include praise for the working environment and rewards for hard work. One reviewer commented that Softcat is, “extremely focussed on employee engagement,” and that there are, “opportunities to develop and grow”. Another enthused that, “the culture at Softcat has been accommodating, friendly and fun,” and that, “ideas get listened to and taken on”. Summing up the reviews, one wrote, “Softcat is full of incredible people and great opportunities. The culture is to work hard while enjoying your job and where you work”.
