Softcat has once again been named by Great Place to Work® as one of the UK's Best Workplaces. The UK's leading IT infrastructure provider ranked 5th in the large category (organisations with 500+ employees).

Great Place to Work presented the award to Softcat at its annual Best Workplaces awards gala last night at the Park Plaza Hotel in Westminster.

Last year, Softcat scooped the top prize and was named as a Laureate, recognising the company's consistent ranking as a Best Workplace over the last six consecutive years.

The methodology behind the Best Workplaces awards is rigorous and unique. First, staff are required to take place in a Trust Index employee survey and then Great Place to Work conducts a thorough audit of the company's HR and management policies.

With the rankings being showcased in national newspapers, there are proven benefits to these awards. On average, companies that rank highly in Best Workplaces attract 2.5 times more job applications than their peers, have exceptionally high engagement levels with staff and are statistically more profitable.
