Kaspersky Lab, a multinational cybersecurity and anti-virus provider, have awarded Softcat the award for Best SMB Project 2017, showcasing Softcat’s increased success in driving business sales in the B2B market.

The Kaspersky 2018 UK Partner Awards, held this year at the prestigious British Library in London, was a great opportunity to not only announce the award winners, but to bring together industry partners to discuss the latest cybersecurity trends and market opportunities for channel partners.

With speakers such as Adam Maskatiya, General Manager for Kaspersky Lab UK and Ireland, and Russ Madley, Head of Channel for Kaspersky Lab UK and Ireland, the focus of the evening was to encourage proactive threat hunting, with a particular focus on the impending GDPR compliance.

Russ Madley said, “Thanks to the dedication and hard work of our valued channel partners, we’re delighted to be able to formally recognise our top performers.”

Colin Brown, Softcat Managing Director, said, “We are thrilled to have been presented this award from Kaspersky. It’s a testament to our successful business relationship, and highlights our passion to continue to develop the SMB market.”
