VMware, a leading innovator in enterprise software, announced last week that Softcat, the leading IT infrastructure provider, has been awarded the ‘Customer Story of the Year’ award for their work with a major healthcare organisation.
The ceremony, taking place at Amba Hotel Charing Cross, in London, was hosted by Alanzo Blackstock, Director of the VMware Partner Organisation, UK&I, while the award was presented by Michael Watkins, Sales Director of the Commercial Team.
Commenting on the award, Softcat CTO Sam Routledge said, “I’m delighted that we’ve won this award – there are a team of people behind the scenes working to deliver the levels of customer service that people expect from Softcat. Being recognised for delivery of a key customer project in partnership with a major vendor is testimony to the work of the whole Softcat team involved in delivering this and many other major projects".
