Yesterday Softcat collected two prestigious awards at the annual HP Partner Forum in Twickenham: Partner of the Year for Storage and Partner of the Year for HP Financial Services. Andy Isherwood, HP’s UK Managing Director, presented the awards to Softcat’s CEO Martin Hellawell.

The awards follow a year that has seen Softcat grow HP financial services business 300%, reflecting the increasing number of customers demanding flexible pay as you go ‘as a service’ solutions, which in turn drives demand for more advanced financing options.

Martin said, “It was fantastic to be named as the best performing partner for storage, and in particular for the business we have done with the exciting StoreServ (3PAR) range. Increasing numbers of customers are using StoreServ (3PAR) for on-premise and hybrid cloud environments. StoreServ (3PAR) technology is also a vital component of the rapidly growing Cloud Softcat.”

He added, “I’m also delighted with the Financial Services Award. Our growth with HPFS reflects increased demand for more flexible financial options, particularly as we move into the “as a service world”.

Nick Venables, HP Storage Division UK&I Country Manager, commmented: "The HP Storage Partner of the Year is HP UK's biggest and most prestigious channel storage award and serves as great recognition of the tremendous partnership and collaboration between HP and Softcat."

HP has continued to extend its storage range to meet the requirements of organisations both large and small. Highly competitive pricing combined with flexible financing options as well as the option of consuming these solutions either on premise or via the Softcat Cloud, are driving strong interest from all areas of the Softcat customer base. Your Softcat Account manager, backed up by a dedicated group of solution specialists, would be delighted to discuss your requirements.
