The Megabuyte Quoted25 Awards are an annual event and an independent ranking of the UK’s best-performing public technology companies. The awards provide a unique independent measure of public company performance, looking beyond share price. Softcat was commended for strong revenue and gross profit growth over the year, and the role that its culture played in retaining talent which has led to more cross-selling opportunities with existing accounts.
Due to the company's continued successful perfomance, Softcat has been placed 19th on the 2018 Megabuyte Quoted25 rankings. As well as achieving this placement, Softcat has been recognised as the best-performing UK public company in the category of Infrastructure Services. The Megabuyte Quoted25 Awards ceremony took place in London on the 27th June, with awards presented by Megabuyte Founder and CEO Ian Spence.

Megabuyte is an origination, transaction support and data analytics platform enabling investors, advisers and CXOs to identify, benchmark and monitor UK mid-market technology companies of relevance to them.
Rankings are compiled using Megabuyte’s proprietary Megabuyte Scorecard methodology, which scores companies against seven key growth-related financial KPIs.
The rigour of Megabuyte Scorecard analysis, combined with a specific focus on pure-breed technology companies, have made the Quoted25 Awards the most influential benchmarking reference in the UK technology sector.
