Leading technology market analyst Canalys has named Softcat its ‘2016 Overall Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Channel Partner of the Year.’ Softcat’s CEO Martin Hellawell collected the award while attending the Canalys Channels Forum held at the Hotel Arts, Barcelona. This is the second time Softcat has won the award which distinguishes the solutions provider for its consistently high volume of sales, outstanding levels of customer satisfaction and ongoing growth.
The Canalys awards are designed to identify and reward channel partners who have ‘demonstrated superior performance in specific areas’. Out of six available categories, recognising achievements including revenue growth, innovation and transformation and infrastructure growth, Softcat has won the top award of ‘Overall EMEA Channel Partner of the Year’. Softcat last won the award in 2012 and since then has grown its revenues to £596m and employee count to over 1000.
Softcat’s CEO Martin Hellawell expressed his delight at winning the award, commenting: “The Canalys Channel Forum brings together the most successful and innovative channel partners, distributors and manufactures in Europe, so to be named as the ‘Overall EMEA Channel Partner of the Year’ is incredibly humbling.
Since we last won this award we’ve reached some major milestones, from listing on the London stock exchange in 2015 to opening our sixth office in the UK and reaching 1000 employees earlier this year. However, despite our growth we’ve stayed focused on our core values of creating an excellent place to work and proving the highest levels of customer satisfaction. I’d like to thank Canalys for this award and congratulate all the other winners.”
