Softcat is delighted to announce it has been awarded Elite Partner status by Check Point Software Technologies, a leading provider of cyber security solutions globally. This is Check Point’s highest level of partner accreditation, and makes Softcat one of only three Check Point Elite partners in the UK.

The accreditation - which is available by invitation only – reflects the investment Softcat has made commercially and in developing enhanced knowledge and experience in installation, technical support, consulting and training in Check Point solutions and assets.

Martin Rutterford, Head of Managed Channels UK at Check Point, says “I’m pleased to announce Softcat has been promoted to Elite Partner status in Check Point’s Partner Growth programme. The Elite tier is reserved for those partners who make a significant investment in and commitment to Check Point, both technically and commercially. Softcat have achieved tremendous results, disrupting the competition and winning new business by working hand in hand with Check Point at all levels to deliver the most advanced security solutions and services available.”

Softcat has partnered with Check Point for over 15 years and as a business has invested heavily in a technical team to deploy, support and advise on Check Point solutions. It is one of very few partners in the UK to have multiple experts trained as Check Point Masters and to hold Managed Service Provider status. The Check Point Partner Growth programme encourages closer alignment with Check Point channel teams whilst implementing best practices, speed, agility, time to market and customer value.

Matthew Helling, Head of Cyber Security Services at Softcat, comments “At Softcat we pride ourselves on being a people first business. The Check Point Elite accreditation really highlights the strength of the relationship we have built over the years. I am incredibly proud of the unique partnership we have with them and that it has been recognised in this way. This step forward in our strategic relationship will enable us to further strengthen our offering, improve the overall customer experience and provide even more value to our customers.”

Through Check Point, Softcat provides consolidated security covering an organisation’s entire infrastructure (cloud, endpoint, mobile and network). On top of that Softcat offers an end-to-end services wrap which allows them to deliver security in a way that is right for customers.
