Taking place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London last week, the CRN Sales & Marketing Awards were hosted by stand-up comedian and actor Tiff Stevenson. Softcat scooped the award for Best Company to Work For - £51m+ turnover, also picking up a highly commended for Best Marketing Campaign for our work educating and assisting businesses to meet GDPR requirements.
The CRN Sales & Marketing Awards focus on innovation, evolution and development, recognising and rewarding the achievements of those individuals and teams responsible for making the UK IT channel truly great.
The Softcat GDPR campaign, which earned a Highly Commended nod in the Best Marketing Campaign category, was a consultancy-led integrated marketing campaign, running from May 2017, which included events, webinars, e-book and case studies, designed to inform business customers of process changes and compliance steps to take in advance of the May 2018 deadline.
In a Best Company to Work For entry which focused on office culture and employee empowerment, Softcat highlighted the employee-driven support for charitable activity, including paid time off for all staff to undertake charitable work and our annual May Ball which generated over £200k for Dreams Come True and local homeless charities.
