The agenda of the EMEA conference focused on providing partners with the knowledge needed to truly profit from their partnership with Red Hat, today and in the future. The event is open to independent software vendors, systems integrators and (cloud) service providers and included a mix of keynotes, breakout sessions and social meetings.

Receiving the award by Brendan McErlain, Red Hat EMEA Head of Marketing and Frank Basinski, Red Hat EMEA Director Partners & Alliances. James Baker, Alliances Director at Softcat, said, “We are incredibly pleased to receive this award from Red Hat – it is a true reflection of the results of our successful working partnership, and we look forward to continuing our growth over the coming year.”

Petra Heinrich, EMEA VP Partners & Alliances said, “We are delighted to present Softcat with this award. As a key Red Hat partner, they have supported us with impressive growth and continually demonstrated their great customer relationships and industry knowledge. Softcat represents a strong strategic partner of Red Hat and we will continue to work closely to drive value to our customers.”

The event spanned across three days and the conference was tailored to both technical and business delegates, offering up a range of activities for partners to engage. It also offers up many opportunities for partners to network, hone their technical knowledge, discover more, and how open source can drive innovation across these areas.
