Softcat delivered significant SAM business growth for Microsoft last year, and as more customers are addressing the need to achieve and maintain continuous software compliance, growth shows no sign of abating. As a mark of Softcat’s expertise, Matt has been asked to speak about SAM at the partner event.
Matt said of the award: “To gain recognition on the global stage from a vendor as well-known as Microsoft is an honour, and a real testament to the long hours and hard work put in by our SAM team. We’ve been steadily increasing our SAM offering from Microsoft for the past six years and the response from customers is very positive.” He added, “Our relationship with Microsoft, one of our biggest and longest-standing partners, continues to go from strength to strength. We’re delighted with this award – we can now say we’re officially one of the best in the world at what we do.”
“Microsoft’s success as a company depends on great partners, and Softcat is a shining example of the kind of innovation our partner ecosystem drives year after year,” said Phil Sorgen, corporate vice president, Worldwide Partner Group, Microsoft Corp. “We are honored to recognise Softcat as this year’s winner of the 2014 Microsoft SAM Partner of the year award, and we applaud Softcat’s dedication to providing innovative solutions that drive results for our mutual customers.”
Softcat, a Microsoft Gold partner of many years, is having a bumper partner awards month, just last week receiving similar accolades from Check Point, Sophos, Barracuda and ESET.
