About the Team

Softcat’s Internal IT Team currently provides IT support to over 1000 Softcat employees across our 6 UK office locations. Fully aligned to the company’s culture and goals, the Internal IT Team is highly service focussed. We deliver a friendly and approachable IT service management support experience. Our key objectives include offering both a prompt response and a proactive resolution to all end-user support issues.

The friendly and service focussed approach is underpinned by the team’s high-level of technical experience and knowledge across multiple IT disciplines including systems administration, unified communication, information security, and IT service management.

About the role

Primarily based from the head office in Marlow, with travel required across Softcat’s 6 UK locations to provide hardware and end-user support.

Our apprenticeship programme runs for 12 months, when you’ll gain all the skills you need to excel in IT. You’ll earn a IT Infrastructure Technician  - Level 3 qualification and we’ll be by your side every step of the way.

About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll need a passion for IT, a desire to learn and have a positive can-do attitude. You’ll be a great team player and enjoy interacting with people. Ideally you’ll have studied IT or ICT at school, college etc.
