About the Team

The Procurement department are responsible for processing all customer orders whilst achieving high standards of order accuracy. We are a highly motivated group of individuals who collectively work together to ensure that our reputation as a first-class Procurement team is upheld.

About the Role

You’ll be a key member of the Software Team within the Procurement Department focussed specifically on our Partner Services Business. You will be responsible for processing high volumes of orders and understanding how key partner services agreements work. You will be working closely with our internal Partner Services sales team and external suppliers on deals to ensure they are processed accurately whilst providing a high level of service to the customer and helping to ensure compliance as per the program rules.

The primary vendors you will manage include VMware and Veeam; however, you will support the wider Procurement Partner Services team with vendors such as Microsoft, Citrix, Sophos.

What you’ll be doing

  • Raise purchase orders by ensuring they meet vendor requirements and price
  • Have good knowledge of partner services agreements, managing price lists and keeping up to date with new programmes and changes.
  • Work to tight deadlines to ensure orders are processed to agreed service level agreements
  • Manage queries relating to orders from partner services sales team and vendors and monitor through to completion
  • Working with account managers, customers and vendors to set up new agreements
  • Maintain customer records and agreements as well as renewal dates
  • Pro-actively improve your own licensing knowledge; developing processes to enhance agreements and offering
  • Support other members of the team where required

What we need from you

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi task and work well under pressure
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with different personalities across the business
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook or similar
  • Ability to learn quickly and retain large quantities of information
  • Proactively learn about core Partner Services programmes and keep knowledge up to date by taking online exams
  • Able to multi task, set own deadlines, prioritise and deliver against them. Is driven to meet targets on time and on budget, whilst maintaining a focus on quality work
