VMware, a leading innovator in enterprise software, announced last week that Softcat, the leading IT infrastructure provider, has been awarded the ‘Customer Story of the Year’ award for their work with a major healthcare organisation.

The ceremony, taking place at Amba Hotel Charing Cross, in London, was hosted by Alanzo Blackstock, Director of the VMware Partner Organisation, UK&I, while the award was presented by Michael Watkins, Sales Director of the Commercial Team.

Commenting on the award, Softcat CTO Sam Routledge said, “I’m delighted that we’ve won this award – there are a team of people behind the scenes working to deliver the levels of customer service that people expect from Softcat. Being recognised for delivery of a key customer project in partnership with a major vendor is testimony to the work of the whole Softcat team involved in delivering this and many other major projects".

Alanzo Blackstoc, Director, Partner Organisation, VMware commented, "I am really thrilled to see that Softcat continue to transform IT models using VMware solutions. As one of our most committed UK partners, this FY18 award for Customer Story of the Year is a direct reflection of Softcat’s increasing focus on solving their customers business problems".
