With a proven track record in the education sector, Softcat is currently certified in six national framework agreements for the provision of IT in higher and further education. Dell and Softcat have had years of experience working collaboratively together on a number of public sector opportunities and frameworks, and this agreement will enable Softcat to sell Dell PCs, laptops and tablet devices, offering a ‘one-stop-shop’ facility to university customers.
The NDNA is highly valued by its university users, offering devices and associated services with competitive pricing which are underpinned by specific terms and conditions tailored for the members. Dell has a long-standing reputation as a leader in providing hardware, services and enterprise solutions to educational institutions. This partnership with Softcat offers universities the additional advantage of a thoroughly integrated and joined-up cross-framework procurement process.
Nick Berry, Softcat’s head of education said, “We’re delighted to be partnering with Dell on the NDNA Framework. This will allow our team of HE specialists to provide higher education institutions with an end -to-end proposition based on Dell technology, incorporating devices, server & storage, networking, security and software, all via the national frameworks. We look forward to working closely with member institutions and assisting them in providing innovative and cost effective end user computing solutions in partnership with Dell.”
