ShoreTel awards Softcat Silver partner status

ShoreTel has upgraded Softcat’s partnership status to ‘Silver’ following months of intensive training across its unified communications and general sales teams. Softcat is ShoreTel’s first non-specialist telephony provider in the UK to have achieved Silver status.

Softcat’s solutions director Sam Routledge said“We’re honoured that ShoreTel has upgraded our partner status to Silver – it serves as recognition of our expertise in providing ShoreTel’s solutions alongside our other IT, storage, networking, and security solutions. Our teams underwent a lot of training to optimise our product knowledge – we provided 250 account managers with a combination of broad and in-depth training. ShoreTel’s technology is very exciting, and it’s great to have such a strong partnership in the unified communications space.” He added, “Not only does this new accreditation strengthen our partnership and raise our profile with ShoreTel internally, it also provides reassurance to our customers and makes us stand out for them as a partner with expert knowledge. ShoreTel know we’re a trusted pair of hands, and now customers will too.”

ShoreTel provides businesses with intelligent scalable solutions to their communications issues, from simple in-house systems to cloud-based and hosted communications. Softcat has been providing unified communications solutions including ShoreTel’s for a number of years, last year starting a specialist unified communications unit to provide customers with focussed specialist account management. This latest accreditation further cements the team’s position as an experienced solutions provider.
