Schools also now have the option to procure Creative Cloud apps and device licenses through the Adobe value incentive plan (VIP), which is tailored to education establishments. Customers can take advantage of the changes by contacting their Softcat account managers.
“The national curriculum has a compulsory computing element now, so it’s crucial for schools to invest in keeping up to date with the latest software. However this needn’t put additional strain on resources, and equally there’s no need for customers to remain on previous Creative Suite versions– it could actually be more cost effective to upgrade to the latest EEA,” said Rachel Bowler, Softcat’s Education Sales Manager. “The new EEA now includes Adobe’s video products, which means schools no longer need to purchase these as expensive add ons. There’s also a lot more flexibility with the new licensing – schools can license classrooms, labs or single devices if they wish, rather than the users themselves – highly beneficial in an environment where students come and go, and wish to switch between devices.”
To benefit from these latest Adobe changes, get in touch with your Softcat account manager on email [email protected] or call 01628 403 360.
