Virtualisation, Business Continuity, DR: Royal Agricultural Society Of England (RASE)
RASE, a leading agricultural development charity, contracted Softcat to assist with the restructuring of the organisation’s network infrastructure following on from an office relocation. Business Continuity and DR were two requirements high on RASE’s agenda. Using a combination of new HP servers, VMware and a NetApp SAN configured to replicate between two of RASE’s buildings, the organisation was able to ensure complete business continuity in the event of a disaster.
