Softcat’s customers now have access to a 24/7, 365 days-a-year managed service support desk, from which trained Softcat engineers supply high quality, out-of-hours monitoring and support on customer infrastructure and platforms, as well as assisting end-users with a range of technical issues.
Softcat Wins EMEA MVP Executive Award at VMware Partner Exchange 2013
Softcat today announced that their Solutions Director, Sam Routledge, has been named the EMEA recipient of a VMware Partner Network Award in the MVP Executive category (MVP – Most Valued Person). The award was presented at VMware Partner Exchange 2013, VMware’s annual partner event, on Feb. 26 in Las Vegas.

The Department for Education has signed a brand new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Microsoft on behalf of schools. This has been delivered following extensive negotiations led by Government Procurement Service (GPS) in collaboration with the Department’s commercial team.

Softcat to supply IT hardware and services to the NHS
The NHS Commercial Procurement Collaborative (CPC) has selected Softcat, along with a small number of other suppliers, to supply IT hardware and services including financing and support options to the NHS and other institutions in the UK public sector via the ‘LINK-IT Hardware and Services’ framework contract.
