Microsoft July price increases lower than initial expectations

Industry News Fri 1st, Jun 2012 by Dave Simpson
Microsoft has today confirmed their final UK pricing across Volume Licensing agreements as of 1st July.

Preliminary indications issued last month stated that the July increases would be between 7.5% and 33.5%. Price changes will in fact be less, now confirmed as ranging from 1.7% to 25.9%, based on current exchange rates.

The percentage increase will vary depending on licensing agreement type. Academic agreements remain unaffected as does boxed product and OEM pricing.
